Stefon Diggs Exposes Locker Room Turmoil at Bills, Claims They'll Never Win a Super Bowl

Buffalo, NY – May 17, 2025

Former Buffalo Bills star Stefon Diggs has stirred controversy with a scathing critique of his old team, sources told ESPN. Now with the New England Patriots, Diggs claimed internal locker room issues will prevent the Bills from ever winning a Super Bowl, igniting tension ahead of their 2025 matchup.

Diggs, traded to the Houston Texans in April 2024 after four standout seasons with Buffalo, signed a three-year, $69 million deal with the Patriots in March. His departure followed reported tensions with Josh Allen, culminating in a now-infamous sideline outburst during the 2023 playoffs.

In a recent interview with NFL Network, Diggs didn’t hold back, pointing to deeper issues within the Bills’ locker room. He suggested that without his presence, the team lacks the cohesion to achieve ultimate success, taking a direct jab at Allen’s leadership.

"WITHOUT ME, JOSH ALLEN WOULD JUST BE SOME RANDOM DUDE WITH A JERSEY,” Diggs said. "The Bills’ locker room is a mess—they’ll never win a Super Bowl with that chaos.”

The comments come after the Bills’ 2024 season, where they fell to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship, 32-29. A dropped 4th-and-5 pass by tight end Dalton Kincaid sealed their fate, marking another year without a championship for the franchise.

Brandon Beane responded to Diggs’ remarks, defending the team’s culture. "We’re united and focused on 2025,” he told The Buffalo News. “Stefon’s entitled to his opinion, but we’re building something special here.”

With Allen’s 4,306-yard MVP season and James Cook’s 1,086-yard rushing, the Bills remain Super Bowl contenders. However, Diggs’ words cast a shadow as they prepare for a Week 1 home clash with the Ravens, followed by a pivotal matchup against the Patriots, where Diggs aims to prove his point.

Bills Mafia, known for their fierce loyalty, is rallying behind the team despite the criticism. Diggs’ stinging remarks could either fracture the Bills’ resolve or fuel their fire as they chase the elusive Super Bowl title in 2025.
