The Philadelphia Eagles are the reigning Super Bowl champions and while they are certainly still enjoying the fruits of their labor from this past season, Eagles GM Howie Roseman is already planning out how he can make this team even stronger through the NFL Draft.

With less than 10 days until the opening round of the draft, Roseman took the opportunity to inform the rest of the league just how aggressive he plans on being with regard to landing the right fits from the college ranks with their respective selections. One way to maximize the talent you receive, especially at the top of the draft, is by making trades and Roseman appears to be very open to the idea of moving up in the first round from their current slot at No. 32 to land a player that can make an immediate impact in Philadelphia.

Without going into too great of detail about what he may have up his sleeve, Roseman met with the media on Tuesday and made it clear that he has the support from ownership to be as aggressive as he wants to be in adding to what is already a championship-level roster.

Roseman is certainly right about the fact that the risk is always greater when you are more aggressive with your efforts to trade up in any draft. That is the way he approaches the game though and the Eagles GM obviously has the type of support in place from owner Jeffrey Lurie and head coach Nick Sirianni to continue to operate in that manner by moving out of No. 32 in order to find a player with whom they have assigned a first-round grade to.

“There are never 32 first-round grades on your board," Roseman said when addressing his draft philosophy, per Zach Berman of AllPHLY.com. "We don’t have 32 first-round grades in this draft.”

This past season, Roseman was aggressive with draft day trades and it paid off for Philadelphia in multiple ways as his deals ultimately helped the Eagles land both Cooper DeJean and the son of the Philadelphia legend Jeremiah Trotter Jr.

If Roseman is able to have similar success with whatever draft day trades he cooks up this year, Eagles fans should have plenty to feel good about between now and the start of training camp this fall.
