Clark Hunt Donates $30 Million in 2025 Chiefs Ticket Revenue to Fund Missouri Disaster Relief

All About Clark Hunt, Chairman and CEO of the Kansas City Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt is donating all 2025 ticket revenue, approximately $30 million, to establish the Hunt Missouri Relief Fund, in partnership with the American Red Cross and University of Missouri Health Care, Hunt announced today. This groundbreaking initiative, based in Kansas City, aims to support disaster relief and rebuilding efforts across Missouri.

The fund will address the devastating impact of tornadoes, a recurring threat in Missouri, by providing immediate aid, rebuilding homes, and enhancing community resilience. The announcement follows a series of destructive storms in 2024 that displaced thousands across the state.

Hunt’s donation, the largest single contribution for disaster relief in Missouri history, will support families in rural and urban areas. “We’re committed to helping Missourians recover and rebuild stronger,” Hunt said in a statement.

The Hunt Missouri Relief Fund will collaborate with local organizations to deliver food, shelter, and medical care post-disaster. It will also invest in tornado-resistant housing and early warning systems, leveraging University of Missouri’s engineering expertise.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson praised the initiative, calling it “a game-changer for our state’s recovery efforts.” The fund’s first project will rebuild 200 homes in Joplin, a city hit hard by tornadoes in 2011 and 2024.

Chiefs fans on X rallied behind Hunt: “Clark’s giving back big! Proud to be Chiefs Kingdom,” tweeted @ChiefsFanatic. Others, like @MORebuild, noted the fund’s potential to transform lives across Missouri.

The Hunt family’s philanthropy echoes their long-standing community commitment, including the Chiefs’ support for local charities. In 2024, the team raised $5 million for Kansas City youth programs through fan events.

As Chiefs Kingdom gears up for the 2025 season, Hunt’s donation cements his legacy beyond football. The Hunt Missouri Relief Fund aims to make Missouri a model for disaster recovery nationwide.
