Bills sign former Patriots receiver after Stefon Diggs, Mack Hollins free agent decisions

New England Patriots Receiver Kristian Wilkerson Stays On The Radar In Preseason Opener

The Buffalo Bills have spent this offseason watching their former wide receivers join division rival New England.

The Patriots signed both Stefon Diggs and Mack Hollins in free agency. Those former Bills will each get two revenge games a year against Buffalo.

The Bills took a much lower-level swing at returning the favor at least a little bit.

On Monday, Buffalo signed free agent wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson.

Wilkerson is a 6-foot-1 pass catcher out of Southeast Missouri State. He spent his first three NFL seasons with New England.

To this point, Wilkerson hasn't been a major NFL contributor. He caught four passes (two for TDs) for the Pats, then caught two passes for the Raiders in 2024.

The Raiders recently waived Wilkerson, giving the Bills a chance to bring him to town.

Wilkerson also played some special teams snaps for Las Vegas in 2024.

He's likely nothing more than a depth add for Buffalo this offseason, but the Bills have made a habit of turning castoffs into solid pass catchers.

With Josh Allen throwing the ball, anything is possible. Maybe Wilkerson will get a chance to play against the Pats for a division rival.
